The film depicts a unique ascent to one of the most inaccessible mountains in the world, followed by downhill skiing. Nanga Parbat is one of the three most dangerous eight-thousanders. Every fifth climber who dared to defy its dangers died. The legendary Reinhold Messner lost his younger brother here. In the film, he talks about his attitude towards the mountain.
The summit became a tough challenge for the expedition members: an exhausting ascent without oxygen, avalanches, icefalls. The main problem was to establish communication within the team as their disagreements jeopardized the success of the expedition. The situation was saved by Nanga Parbat itself, because it can be conquered only with effective teamwork. The team also mastered extreme piloting of a quadcopter in mountainous conditions.
The equipment at such altitudes can be unpredictable. It resulted in the unique footage of vertical cliffs and spectacular overflights at an altitude of 8000 metres.
