Mouse Science will take young viewers to the fictional science lab where our main characters live and work. They are funny laboratory mouse puppets: cheerful and overly enthusiastic nerdy professor Quiz and his reckless, a little crazy lab assistant Chasy. In all episodes the mouse puppets are helped by their loyal friend and ally – a real live dog and part-time engineer Hertz.
In each release of the show, our characters answer a question a child asks in the form of video message and e-mails to them. The questions relate to everyday problems and adults’ bans that children face on a daily basis but cannot solve them on their own, since they are associated with certain physical or chemical phenomena whose nature children do not understand. For example, charging a tablet is connected to electricity, games on ice – to the aggregate states of matter, video games – to the laws of optics, and eating sweets – to the interaction of substances.
is not just to talk about the physical and chemical phenomena, but to help children look into many everyday situations and to realise why adults forbid them to perform certain actions themselves. In addition, the funny characters of the show will introduce children to safety rules. Being aware of these basic rules can protect children from many troubles in the future.
